Big Ducky is making its way across the USA!! Our goal is to get Big Ducky to All 50 states before DDay. Here’s how it works:

Big Ducky has an apple air tag inside, so when you want to let us know where Big Ducky is, simply accept the air tag alert on any iPhone or apple device nearby and that will send a ping to the Rubber Ducky Revolution organizers. We will then MANUALLY add the TOWN and STATE only to this website tracker for all of us to see where Big Ducky is. *We will NEVER share address or specific location data.
If you are willing, you of course are welcome and encouraged to take photos of Big Ducky in your favorite local places and share where Big Ducky is on your preferred social media platform and add #DUCKmocracy for our followers to see. We want to see all the places and spaces big and small that care about defending democracy to inspire connection, hope, and collective action!
Big Ducky moves by you either handing it off to a friend who will keep it traveling OR by strategically leaving Big Ducky in a very safe and public place for someone else to pick up. * If you are leaving Big Ducky somewhere public, be sure to post and let locals in your community know where it is and that it needs someone to keep it traveling! (think letterbox or geocache). If Big Ducky doesn’t move for over 24hours, the organizers will send out the airtag alert that will ping all apple users within a few feet of the Ducky to help it along.

The Big Ducky has an Apple AirTag inside of it. The air tag is pinged anytime an apple user accepts the alert that the AirTag is nearby and sends a gps signal to the RDR organizers. The organizers will then manually add the new location to the Tracking map on this page sharing only the town and state that the Big Ducky is in.
This is a purely, creative, grassroots word of mouth initiative - using the internet to help us connect. So, keep track of where the Ducky is to see when it in your state, and then use the powers of the interwebs, socials, and any other method you can think of to connect with other members of the RDR to move the Big Ducky around!
How could the visual of a million rubber duckies across America showing up for Democracy NOT make a difference!? Uniting around an important idea, taking action to show up and lift your voice, and finding humor and joy while non-violently resisting are all valid ways to take care of yourself and your community in the face of authoritarianism. When we come together to show up, it matters and absolutely makes a difference! …Plus, this is way better than doom scrolling and feeling helpless.
